The filming of her directorial debut, Goodbye June, produced in collaboration with Netflix and Working Title Films, is set to occur in the United Kingdom. The cast features notable actors such as Winslet, Helen Mirren, Toni Collette, Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough, Timothy Spall, and Joe Anders, who is Winslet's son. Working Title will act as executive producers, while Winslet and Kate Solomon will co-produce the project.

Winslet is prepared to attend the BAFTA Film Awards today, February 16. She and Solomon have received a nomination for Outstanding British Film for their contributions to the project Lee, in which Winslet plays the role of photojournalist Lee Miller.
Additionally, Winslet's son, Anders, who is the child of Winslet and Sam Mendes, has an acting portfolio that features a leading role in Julia Jackman's 2023 film Bonus Track for Sky, along with appearances in Lee and Mendes' film 1917.
In relation to Netflix UK, the production of Tom Harper's Peaky Blinders film was finalized in December 2024, and it is set to be available on the streaming platform shortly.

Winslet's forthcoming projects include her appearance in James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash, where she will once again portray the character Ronal, a role she previously played in Avatar: The Way of Water (2022).

In this series, Winslet takes on the role of Elena Vernham, a chancellor within an authoritarian Central European regime, whose authority is increasingly threatened by internal conflicts. The Regime is currently available for streaming on JioHotstar in India.
