Global star Ram Charan has teamed up with the acclaimed director Buchi Babu Sana, who gained recognition with his successful debut film "Uppena," for the highly anticipated project tentatively titled RC 16. This eagerly awaited film features Janhvi Kapoor in the leading female role and Karunada Chakravarthy Shiva Rajkumar in a significant part.

The production team has recently completed the look test for Shivanna, who is set to join the filming shortly. Known for his commanding screen presence, Shivanna is expected to infuse his character in RC 16 with his distinctive charm and grandeur. This film also represents the inaugural collaboration between Ram Charan and Shivanna.

RC 16 was officially launched in 2024, with the regular shooting commencing in Mysore in November of the same year. The team has recently concluded another important filming schedule in Hyderabad. The film features a diverse cast, including the talented Jagapathi Babu and Bollywood actor Divyenndu, known for his role in "Mirzapur," among others.

The musical score for the film is being crafted by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman, while the esteemed cinematographer Ratnavelu is responsible for capturing breathtaking visuals. Avinash Kolla is the production designer for the project, which is being financed by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner. The film is being jointly presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.
