Regarding the shooting schedule for Aashiqui 3, Anurag Basu recently stated in an interview with ANI that his team has not yet commenced filming, but they plan to begin next month. He is currently focused on the pre-production phase of Aashiqui 3, indicating that filming is set to start in March 2025.

Triptii Dimri walked out of Aashiqui 3

In a recent development, Triptii Dimri has reportedly exited Aashiqui 3, leading to delays in the project. Speculations indicate that disputes related to the title may have contributed to this setback. A report from Zoom suggested that Triptii's bold performance in Animal did not align with the tone of Aashiqui, prompting the filmmakers to seek a new actress for the role.

Kartik Aaryan officially announced Aashiqui 3 in September 2022, sharing a teaser of the film on Instagram with the caption, "Ab Tere Bin Ji Lenge Hum Zeher Zindagi Ka Pi Lenge Hum Aashiqui3 This one is going to be Heart-wrenching !! My First with Basu Da (sic)."

According to Mid Day, producer Bhushan Kumar, who is also a co-producer, has reportedly initiated discussions with the film's main producers to cast Imanvi Esmail. The report further noted that if an agreement with Imanvi cannot be reached, the filmmakers will consider Sara Ali Khan as an alternative.
