Kartik Aaryan and Sameer Vidwans are on the hunt for a producer for their new romantic film, and it looks like Karan Johar has stepped in after Sajid Nadiadwala passed on it. Karan made the big reveal on his social media, sharing the film's title: Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. The announcement video includes a voiceover from Kartik, and this is the project that Dharma Productions teased in connection with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

When sharing the video, Johar mentioned that their most romantic Christmas gift is coming soon for the fans, all wrapped up in magic. Meanwhile, Kartik shared that his character's name is Ray, and his love interest is Rumi. He also mentioned a promise he made to his mom, saying, "This Mama's boy always keeps his promises!" The actor expressed his excitement about diving back into his favorite romantic comedy genre.

Kartik Aaryan is embarking on a new project with Dharma Productions

Kartik recently pitched an idea to Karan Johar, and according to Bollywood Hungama, Karan was totally on board and even offered to fund the project. This film is set to be an adventurous, action-filled love story and is considered one of the most ambitious ones out there right now. The whole team is super excited to finally share it with everyone in 2026 after pouring their hearts into this Rs. 150 crore project. An insider mentioned that this could be Kartik's next big thing after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

Initially, Kartik was a bit reluctant to jump into another feature film after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, but he’s all in for this script. The movie is a collaboration between Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures.

Collaboration ignited while filming Satyaprem Ki Katha

Kartik was really taken with Sameer while filming Satyaprem Ki Katha, so much so that he asked him to help him land another romantic drama. The filmmaker recently shared a screenplay with him, and it totally hooked him right away.
