Are Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar teaming up once more?

Reports indicate that Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar are teaming up for a comedy trilogy directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, known for the hit Fukrey series, and produced by Dharma Productions. Initially, this project was just a comedy-drama, but it has now evolved into a trilogy.

According to a source cited by Pinkvilla, “Mrighdeep Singh Lamba has been developing this unique comedy for some time, and it’s now set to be a trilogy with Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. Karan was immediately drawn to the concept and decided to support the project for the big screen. The script has the potential to appeal to all types of moviegoers,” the source shared.

A source revealed that the upcoming untitled film will be a large-scale comic adventure featuring some high-concept ideas in its script. “It’s not just a simple comedy; the team aims to wow the audience with its grand scale and stunning visuals. Right now, the film is in pre-production and is set to start filming in September 2025.”

The source also mentioned that the film is targeting a release in 2026, specifically in the latter half of the year. In the meantime, Kartik Aaryan is occupied filming an Anurag Basu project with Sreeleela. Previously known as Aashiqui 3, the movie is now untitled, and fans are eagerly waiting for the new title reveal. Additionally, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is scheduled to hit theaters on Valentine's Day 2026.
