Veteran actor Kanwaljit Singh recently appeared in the web series Bada Naam Karenge, directed by Palash Vaswani and produced by Sooraj Barjatya. The series premiered on February 7 on SonyLIV and received positive reviews following its release on the OTT platform. Known for his impactful performances, Singh discussed the emotional climax of the series and his initial reluctance to display such vulnerability on screen.

In reflecting on the emotional climax of Bada Naam Karenge, Kanwaljit Singh shared insights into his approach to the pivotal scene. He recounted how director Palash envisioned a moment where his character, Anand Raathi, would experience a profound emotional breakdown.

"At first, I was uncertain, as I believed it might not align with the persona of a family patriarch to exhibit such deep emotions. However, after discussing my concerns, we reached a mutual understanding. Ultimately, I placed my trust in the director’s vision, as he possesses a broader perspective. I recall our extensive conversations leading up to that scene," he stated.

Singh expressed surprise that not only he but the entire cast was moved to tears during the filming of the emotional climax. He noted that the scene turned out beautifully, just as Palash had envisioned.

"I am thankful to Palash ji for his skillful direction of this sequence and to Rajshri for embracing me into their family—something I have always aspired to. Now that the series has been released, I sincerely hope the audience resonates with it as profoundly as we did during its creation," Kanwaljit remarked.
