Kangana's character asserts in the Assembly that the sole means of embracing the truth is through the declaration of war. She opposes all other leaders in making this determination. Milind Soman, portraying Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, inquires whether she desires a war. Her response is a glance that unequivocally indicates her willingness for conflict.
The nation subsequently descends into turmoil, violence, and loss as Kangana's portrayal of Indira chooses to declare an Emergency. As the video concludes, her voice resonates with the declaration, "Indira is India." Kangana effectively depicts the former Prime Minister's struggle against the opposition to enforce her decision.
In a post on X, Kangana remarked, “1975, Emergency — A pivotal moment in Indian History. Indira: India’s most formidable woman. Her aspirations reshaped the country, yet her #EMERGENCY led it into disorder.”
