A few days before Kanakarajyam opens in theatres, the makers of the upcoming Malayalam movie released its official teaser. The one-minute and twenty-second clip shows the two main characters having an informal conversation while enjoying tea in a bakery. 

The plot of this film, which examines the lives of a young man and a former army officer, was hinted at in the trailer. Additionally, it is shows that the film is partially based on actual events. The gripping family drama, in which Murali Gopy and Indrans have prominent roles, will be screened on large screens around the state on July 5. The release date was revealed on the most recent poster.

Teaser of Kanakarajyam

The teaser opens with Murali Gopy's character becoming furious over his wife's constant calls. In the meantime, Indrans, who is seen drinking tea across from him, tells him to talk to her politely and not be unpleasant. When Murali does this, his wife tells him it is okay and he can call her back whenever that he's convenient.

A glimpse into the plot of Kanakarajyam

A glimpse into the life of Indrans, a retired army officer who works as security personnel at a jewellery store in his hometown, is given in the two-minute trailer. Meanwhile, Murali Gopy is portrayed as a jobless man who is trying to get a bank loan for a business venture.

The lives of Indran and his family take an unexpected turn when his character unintentionally gets involved in the robbery case involving the jewellery store where he worked. The rest of the trailer then shows his quest to learn the truth and get his name cleared in the case. After the film opens, viewers can see the character portrayed by Murali Gopy is involved in this case.

The story revolves around a 2005 jewellery theft that happened in Alappuzha. Dinesh Prabhakar, Leona Lishoy, Unni Raj, Sreejith Ravi, Jolly Chirayath, and Ramesh Kottayam are among the supporting cast members.
