Actor Vijay is undoubtedly one of the topmost actors in south Indian cinema, and with each passing day, the update on his projects have kept scores of his on the peak of curiosity. 

While the actor is currently awaiting the release of The GOAT with Venkat Prabhu, reports began to emerge about his next film, which is expected to be Vijay’s last film before he takes up full-time politics. In the latest, speculation is rife that Thalapathy 69 will be helmed by H Vinoth and Kamal Haasan will play an important role in the project.

Kamal Haasan connected with Thalapathy 69?

Thalapathy 69 is touted to be the last film Vijay will be acting before he delves into full-time political life. With an official announcement on the project yet to be made, social media is buzzing with reports that director H Vinoth will be collaboration with the actor to direct the project. However, what is also new is that with some reports saying Kamal Haasan will also be involved in it. While a few rumours speculate that the multi-faceted actor will be making a cameo appearance in the Vijay-starrer film, others say that Thalapathy 69 will the script first proposed to Kamal Haasan.

If you had remembered, a while go Kamal Haasan and H Vinoth made an announcement of their collaboration. At the time, Vinoth had worked on a script, which Kamal Haasan had brought some changes. Now, as per latest turn of events, the script has become Thalapathy 69, which might have Kamal Haasan’s inputs as writer. Having said all this, only an official confirmation can confirm the same.

Kamal Haasan and Vijay’s collaboration

Vijay and Kamal Haasan had recently collaborated for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo. Though the stars did not share screen space, Kamal Haasan lent his voice during the post-credits sequence of Leo, thus connecting the film to Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram. It is to be noted that Leo, Vikram and Karthi-starrer Kaithi, all belongs to the same universe, which has been dubbed as Lokesh Cinematic Universe.

However, with Vijay set to concentrate on politics soon, there can be less chances if the actor will appear in the future instalments.
