Kalyani Priyadarshan is poised for an exhilarating 2025, featuring a series of films alongside prominent figures in Mollywood. The actress, known for her role in Hridayam, is set to star in Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira alongside Fahadh Faasil, and she will also appear in a project with Naslen, produced by Dulquer Salmaan. Recently, Kalyani provided eagerly anticipated updates regarding both the Fahadh Faasil film and the Dulquer Salmaan production.

Kalyani Priyadarshan on films with Fahadh Faasil, Dulquer Salmaan

In her recent Instagram post, Kalyani Priyadarshan shared insights about her forthcoming films for 2025, including Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira with Fahadh Faasil and the Dulquer Salmaan-produced film featuring Naslen in the lead role.

Kalyani mentioned that the Wayfarer film is currently 73 days into production, with three weeks remaining, and noted that the team even filmed through the midnight hours on New Year’s Eve. In this project, Kalyani will star alongside Naslen K Gafoor, with Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films producing. Additionally, it has been reported that Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas will make cameo appearances in the film.

The untitled project, directed by Dominic Arun, will also feature Chandu Salimkumar, Shanthy Balachandran, and Arun Kurian in significant roles. This film will mark Kalyani’s second collaboration with Dulquer Salmaan in Malayalam cinema, following their previous work together in Varane Avashyamund, directed by Anoop Sathyan.

Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira

Regarding Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, Kalyani's other Malayalam film, it is directed by Althaf Salim, with Fahadh Faasil in the lead role. Althaf, who gained acclaim for directing Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela, which was well-received in 2017, has also written the screenplay for Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira.

Produced by Ashiq Usman Productions, this film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including notable actors such as Revathi, Vinay Forrt, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Lal, Babu Antony, Johny Antony, Suresh Krishna, and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, among others.

In addition to the two Malayalam films, Kalyani is also involved in the Tamil movie Genie, which is currently in its final stages of production. The actress mentioned that the visual effects for this fantasy film are requiring additional time, and the team is targeting a release in the summer of 2025.
