So far, Rajamouli's 'RRR' held the record as it made 3.6 million dollars, and now, Kalki has beaten it easily. As the word of mouth is good, the trade is expecting big numbers from the weekend shows in the US.

From day one, the buzz for the film in the US has been huge. The makers also promoted the film well, and as big names like Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan played key roles, the urge to watch the film on the big screens is massive.
