In the new video, which is shared by the makers today, Riteish Deshmukh can be seen reminding everyone to keep their doors open on Tuesday as instructed by Kakuda. He also mentions that if you fail to do so, he will have to come and save you all as he has a setting with the ghosts. The video then gives some glimpses of the spooky scenes from the film also featuring Sonakshi and Saqib.
Sharing the video, the makers captioned it: "Pick precaution over setting, kyunki bhoot kabhi bhi setting change kar sakte hain! Darwaza khula rakho!"
Take a look at their post here:
Earlier, in an interview with DNA, when Riteish was asked his views about ghosts, he said, “I think they do exist, fear, energies kind of kind. I don’t think particularly a ghost. But there is an energy to the place that exists. If you will abandon some place or a building then you visit that place, and you feel there is someone. Like Aditya said, energies.”
What is the story of Kakuda?
The narrative of the film is about a village called Ratodi where there is a ghost named Kakuda. He has a very peculiar habit of coming to the village every Tuesday at 7:15 pm. Every house there has two doors, one is small and the other one is a big one and the smaller one is for the ghost. If the smaller door is closed when Kakuda comes, then he gets angry. Kakuda will knock on the door. And when someone opens the door he will kill that person within 13 days.
