Saqib Saleem talks about sporting a 4-kg prosthetic hump on his back

For the uninitiated, Saqib Saleem sported a 4-kg prosthetic hump on his back for Kakuda. Speaking about the challenges that came along with it, Saqib told Mid-Day, "There were days when the physical pain was intense, but the challenge of transforming into this character was rewarding. It required a blend of physical endurance and emotional depth."

The actor added that he had to find a balance between horror and comedy, thereby ensuring that the audience empathised with and was amused by his character. Saqib plays the role of Sunny, who gets attacked by the ghost Kakuda in the film. To save his life, Sunny's on-screen wife, Indira (Sonakshi), seeks help from a ghost hunter, Victor (Ritesh Deshmukh).
