The much-awaited film Kakuda is now streaming on OTT. The movie is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, who recently delivered the hit movie of 2024, Munjya. The horror comedy stars Riteish Deshmukh, Sonakshi Sinha, and Saqib Saleem in the lead roles. The story of the film is based on a strange folklore. The new promo from the film shows how Riteish's ghost-hunter Victor is trying to help the town from Kakuda's wrath.

Kakuda is streaming on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium from today and now to keep up the excitement around the film, the makers shared an exciting promo. In the video when Sonakshi Sinha's Indira is trying to save her fiance (Saqib), they take the help of a ghost hunter played by Riteish. With his funny tactics, he tries to get a hold of Kakuda so they can save the town from the ghost.

Meanwhile, the narrative of Kakuda revolves around the cursed village of Rathoda where every house has two doors - one big and one small. Every Tuesday, sharp at 7.1pm, people should keep the small door open, or else Kakuda will attack the men of the family and curse him and the family. 

The official synopsis of the film reads, “When her husband Sunny gets cursed by the terrifying ghost, Kakuda, Indira joins hands with a ghost hunter to find a solution. Can she save her husband before the curse claims his life?”

Kakuda is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and written by Chirag Garg and Avinash Dwivedi. The horror-comedy is currently streaming on ZEE5.
