In light of the favorable reception to the recent re-release of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the iconic film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, which marked the debut of Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel, is poised for a theatrical re-release. PVR INOX has announced this re-release as part of the celebration for the film's 25th anniversary.

Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai re-release date

Originally released in January 2000 and directed by Rakesh Roshan, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai quickly became a blockbuster, launching Hrithik Roshan into the limelight. This film also introduced Ameesha Patel to the industry and featured a notable ensemble cast, including Anupam Kher, Farida Jalal, Satish Shah, Mohnish Behl, Dalip Tahil, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Vrajesh Hirjee, among others. As it commemorates its 25th anniversary, the film is scheduled for re-release in theaters on Hrithik's birthday, January 10.

Reflecting on the re-release of his debut film, Hrithik Roshan expressed, "It feels surreal to acknowledge that 25 years have elapsed since Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai! This milestone is both humbling and inspiring. I consider myself fortunate to have pursued my dream of acting every day for the past two and a half decades. Kaho Naa... Rakesh Roshan, the film's producer and director, remarked, "This is a significant moment for me as a producer, director, and father, as Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai is being honored after 25 years. Revisiting the film evokes numerous memories, and I am deeply grateful to the audience for their enduring affection for both my film and Hrithik. It is immensely gratifying as a filmmaker to hear the songs from Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai still resonating at events and parties today. I am thrilled to see the film celebrated with a re-release that coincides with Hrithik's birthday."

Hrithik Roshan’s Upcoming Movie

Hrithik Roshan is presently engaged in the production of his movie, War 2. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, this film represents the sixth chapter in YRF's spy universe, succeeding Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. The cast includes Kiara Advani, and it also features Jr NTR in his Bollywood debut, portraying the role of the antagonist.
