Lee Sun Bin and Kang Tae Oh's new show, The Potato Lab, made its debut on tvN in South Korea and started streaming on Netflix on March 1. As per Nielsen Korea, this romantic comedy kicked off its TV run with an average rating of 1.7% across the nation. For Episode 2, the Saturday-Sunday drama saw a slight increase in viewership, reaching an average rating of 1.8%.

Park Hyung Sik and Seo Kang Joon's dramas have reached new personal bests

Early weekend K-dramas Buried Hearts (also known as Treasure Island) and Undercover High School, featuring Park Hyung Sik and Seo Kang Joon, have once again shattered their own TV rating records. The fourth episode of both series, which aired on March 1, achieved their highest viewership ratings yet.

Park Hyung Sik's revenge drama saw its ratings jump to an average of 10.2%, a nice increase from the 8.8% it got in Episode 3. Meanwhile, Seo Kang Joon's action comedy also made strides, reaching a new high with an 8.3% nationwide viewership, up from the 6.6% of the last episode.

Jinyoung's The Witch is really picking up steam in the second half

Over in the K-drama scene, the audience numbers for Park Jinyoung, known from GOT7, and Roh Jeong Eui’s show The Witch on Channel A saw a nice bump this weekend. With Episode 6 airing on March 2, the mystery romance kicked off its second half on a strong note, pulling in an average nationwide rating of 2.8%, bouncing back from a low of 1.5% on March 1.

KBS2’s popular show has been a major success for the South Korean network. The latest weekend drama, For Eagle Brothers, has kept its double-digit ratings since it premiered on February 1. The second episode aired on March 2 and scored an average nationwide rating of 19.2%, up from Saturday’s 16.9%.
