Loveyapa box office collection day 3: Advait Chandan's film Loveyapa, featuring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, premiered in theaters this past Friday. As reported by Sacnilk, the Hindi adaptation of Pradeep Ranganathan's Tamil movie Love Today garnered approximately ₹4.25 crore net in India.

The website indicates that Loveyapa generated a net revenue of ₹1.45 crore in India based on preliminary estimates, resulting in a cumulative total of ₹4.25 crore net in its opening weekend. The film experienced a sluggish debut, recording a net collection of ₹1.15 crore on Friday. However, it witnessed a significant increase of 43.48% in collections on Saturday, earning ₹1.65 crore. On Sunday, the occupancy rates for morning shows were at 6.26%, rising to 16.63% in the afternoon and reaching 23.55% in the evening. To date, the film has garnered only ₹3.30 crore globally. It remains uncertain whether the film will exhibit any notable improvement in the near future.

Suresh Raina meets Aamir Khan

Cricketer Suresh Raina recently had the opportunity to meet actor Aamir Khan and view his son Junaid's latest film, Loveyapa. He shared photographs from the encounter on Instagram, stating, “It is always a pleasure to meet the one and only Aamir Bhai! His warmth and humility are genuinely inspiring (hugging face emoji). I wish Junaid all the best for his new movie Loveyapa - he is destined to shine! (Dizzy emoji) God bless.” Additionally, cricketer Manvinder Bisla and actor-RJ Kisnaa were also present during the meeting with Aamir.

Aamir recently organized a screening of Loveyapa for his colleagues in the Bollywood industry. Notable attendees included Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Juhi Chawla, Aamir's nephew Imran Khan, rapper Honey Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, and his wife Tahira Kashyap, among others. Loveyapa narrates the story of a couple who are compelled to swap phones for a day, resulting in a series of comedic and chaotic events. This marks the first theatrical release for Junaid and Khushi, who previously debuted with the Netflix films Maharaja and The Archies.
