Netflix has just released the trailer for Sirens, its forthcoming limited series that promises luxury, obsession, and one incredibly uncomfortable family getaway. Based on Molly Smith Metzler’s celebrated play Elemeno Pea, the series reinterprets the clever stage satire into a visually striking, binge-worthy psychological drama set on a dazzling island estate where social classes collide, sisterly conflict arises, and a dangerously charming employer escalates tensions.

At the heart of the chaos is Julianne Moore as Michaela Kell — envision Martha Stewart combined with Miranda Priestly, holding a chilled rosé and possessing a resilient demeanor. Michaela serves as the impeccably refined, ambiguously altruistic employer of Simone (portrayed by House of the Dragon breakout Milly Alcock), who has plunged deep into Michaela’s cult-like environment of meticulously crafted perfection.

However, when Simone’s doubtful sister Devon (The White Lotus star Meghann Fahy) arrives unexpectedly, she’s determined to pull her sister back to reality — only to find herself ensnared in a psychological battle with a woman who never backs down. During one tension-filled weekend at the Kells’ private island estate, secrets emerge, alliances shift, and the cost of privilege becomes chillingly evident. The impressive cast also features Kevin Bacon, Glenn Howerton, Bill Camp, and Felix Solis, each adding their distinctive flair of intrigue and discomfort to the ensemble.
