Light Shop, the chilling K-drama, has been getting tons of love from viewers. The story revolves around a light shop that’s open around the clock, lighting up a dark alley like no other. For those who don’t know, it’s based on the popular comic by Kang Full. In a recent chat, actor Ju Ji-hoon shared his thoughts on Kang Full and the script for Light Shop.

Ju Ji-hoon, who portrayed Jung Won-young, the owner of the light shop, recently shared his thoughts on the Light Shop and Kang Full, according to Hindustan Times. He mentioned that he has admired Kang Full's work since his school days and really enjoyed the series Moving. Ju Ji-hoon also noted that he had previously collaborated with director Kim Hiewon during his acting career.
He expressed, "I really came to appreciate Kim's artistic depth back then. So when he reached out with a script for me, I was all in. I've always had faith in Kang Full, and even though it was Kim Hiewon's directorial debut, I knew he would nail it."
Ji-hoon shared his thoughts on Light Shop, mentioning how the story was packed with suspense and kept him on the edge of his seat. He found the characters super engaging. "I was totally hooked and couldn’t wait to dive into the next episode’s script."
Light Shop plot
Light Shop tells the tale of a bunch of strangers struggling to cope with a traumatic event from their past. They’re all just going about their daily lives when they find themselves inexplicably attracted to a light shop tucked away at the end of a sketchy alley.
The final episodes drop on December 18 on Disney+ Hotstar. The cast includes Park Bo Young (Strong Girl Bong Soon), Um Tae Goo (My Sweet Mobster), Shin Eun Soo (Twinkling Watermelon), Seol Hyun (Summer Strike), and Kim Min Ha (Pachinko).
