War 2 is generating a ton of buzz in Indian cinema, especially since it marks the first collaboration between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. Filming is moving along quickly in Mumbai.

Recently, a short clip of the two actors in a showdown made waves on social media, but the producers swiftly took it down. Now, there's some exciting news about Jr NTR's role in the movie that's come to light. 

Jr NTR's character details unveiled in War 2

Jr NTR is set to portray Veerandra Ragunath, a former RAW agent from South India who turns rogue after his teammates betray him during a mission. He takes on the role of the main villain, facing off against Hrithik Roshan’s character, Kabir, who works for India’s intelligence agency, RAW. War 2 focuses on their fierce rivalry and includes some groundbreaking action scenes that we haven't seen in Hindi films before.

Jr NTR is reportedly getting a big paycheck for his part in this action-packed drama. War 2 is his first venture into Bollywood, directed by Ayan Mukerji. Yash Raj Films is putting a lot of resources into this project, and they’re almost done with filming.

Jr NTR is set to collaborate with Prashanth Neel

After Jr NTR finishes up with War 2, he’s set to dive into Prashanth Neel’s upcoming project, which is also being developed on a Pan-India level. This marks Jr NTR’s first time teaming up with Neel, who’s currently enjoying the success of Salaar: Part 1. Plus, there’s Devara 2 in the works, but it looks like that sequel will take a while before it actually starts filming.

Jr NTR is currently all in on War 2, which is his first big step into Bollywood. After the huge success of RRR and Devara, he's become a major star in Hindi-speaking areas. With War 2, his fan base is set to grow even more. Keep an eye out for updates on this exciting project!
