The Diplomat box office collection day 3: John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb's film has recently premiered in theaters. This was succeeded by a collection of Rs 4.68 crore for the political thriller. Notably, the film maintained its performance on the third day, leading to an opening weekend total exceeding Rs 10 crore.

As per preliminary estimates from Sacnilk, The Diplomat earned Rs 4.65 crore on its third day. The cumulative total for the first three days approaches Rs 15 crore. Produced by T-Series Films, JA Entertainment, Wakaoo Films, Seeta Films, and Fortune Pictures, The Diplomat has shown a respectable performance at the box office. It remains to be seen how the film will perform in the coming days.
The movie narrates the tale of Indian diplomat JP Singh, who intervenes to save Uzma Ahmed, an Indian woman, from Pakistan, where she has been coerced into an unwanted marriage. John portrays the role of JP Singh, while Sadia Khateeb plays the role of Uzma. The supporting cast features notable actors such as Sharib Hashmi, Kumud Mishra, Revathy, Jagjeet Sandhu, among others.

Prior to the release of The Diplomat, John Abraham shared his experience of meeting the actual diplomat, JP Singh. He commended Singh, stating, "When J.P. Singh sir visited the set, I took note of his body language and manner of speaking—very sweet and straightforward. However, it’s as if he anticipates his next ten moves, much like a chess player strategizing at the board. He communicates effortlessly, yet he has already devised his next ten steps, which is characteristic of a true diplomat."
