In a chat with PTI, John Abraham mentioned that he's been discussing a possible project with Akshay Kumar. He said, "I'm thinking about doing something humorous. It's important to make people laugh and have a good time, not just for fun, but to really make an impact. Take Garam Masala, for example—it was something special. Movies like that truly matter. He also added, "Akshay and I are in talks. If something comes together, it’ll be a nice surprise. We’re both eager to find a chance to team up again because we really vibe off each other’s energy. I’m actively searching for a reason to work with him soon."

John Abraham Reveals Discussions About Rakesh Maria Biopic

Reports are coming in that John Abraham is in talks to take on the role of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria. Maria played a key role in cracking several major cases, such as the 1993 Bombay serial blasts, the 2003 twin blasts at Gateway of India and Zaveri Bazaar, and the investigation into the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

John has confirmed that while discussions are happening, he hasn't finalized any deals yet. In a chat with PTI, he mentioned, "The Rakesh Maria biopic is still just a discussion for now. I haven’t signed on for any film yet. At the moment, I’m focused on the release of The Diplomat, and then I have an exciting project, Tehran. Once I officially sign something, I’ll let everyone know."

John Abraham is currently in the theaters. His latest film, The Diplomat, represents a notable change in his career, as he takes on a role that emphasizes strategy, intelligence, and negotiation skills. This character is a bold and assertive departure from his past roles.
