ETV Win is swiftly broadening its content library through the acquisition of digital rights for low-budget Telugu films. Recently, OTTplay announced that ETV Win has obtained the rights to the romantic drama Dhoom Dhaam, which is scheduled to premiere on March 6, 2025. Additionally, the platform has acquired another film, Jithender Reddy, thereby enhancing its offerings.

Jithender Reddy, starring Rajesh Varre in the principal role, is a biographical film that chronicles the life of Jithender Reddy, a native of Telangana who has been influenced by RSS values since his youth. Although the film carries a patriotic message, it did not achieve commercial success at the box office.

Nonetheless, ETV Win has secured the OTT streaming rights for a significant sum and plans to release the film for viewing starting March 20, 2025. Directed by Virinchi Varma, who is recognized for his prior successful projects, the film received praise for its direction; however, the emotional resonance of the narrative fell short of audience expectations.

Jithender Reddy's backdrop details

Critics have expressed that Rajesh Varre's portrayal of the lead character did not resonate strongly. Nevertheless, ETV Win maintains a positive outlook regarding Jithender Reddy's prospects on their platform. The film, which showcases an unsung hero from Telangana who devoted his life to aiding the underprivileged, is anticipated to draw in viewers who may have overlooked it during its theatrical run.

Produced on a limited budget by Muduganti Ravinder Reddy, the film features a score by Gopi Sundar. Regrettably, his background music has faced criticism for being excessively loud, leading to unfavourable reactions from certain audience members.
