The fact that a Vasan Bala movie is incoming, featuring Alia Bhatt not only starring in it but also producing it alongside Karan Johar, was news that left everyone extremely excited when it was announced. The music is by Achint Thakkar, of Khalasi fame, with the songs penned by Varun Grover, who last wrote the wildly popular song "Shauq" for the Netflix film Qala. Jigra Trailer Highlights

Alia Bhatt’s Action Avatar

Jigra mainly revolves around Satya, a sister who is ready to take on the world to rescue her brother from prison. She goes full heist mode as she begins to plan Ankur's prison break. The trailer captures her character arc so well. She evolves from a girl who could be easily overpowered to a robust fighter standing atop a tank with weapons in hand. At the same time, the trailer also explores her helplessness in a moving way, showing her desperation just to get a glimpse of her brother.

Vedang Raina’s Vulnerability

The trailer presents Ankur largely through Satya’s perspective—a young boy cared for by his elder sister, who stands like a wall between him and any trouble. When he is arrested for an undisclosed crime by foreign authorities, he no longer has his protector. All he can do is endure the pain and not lose hope, knowing that Satya is on her way. Even with limited screen time in the trailer, Vedang Raina showcases a good range of emotions.

Soul-Stirring Music

When the announcement teaser for Jigra was released, everyone was captivated by the unique and interesting music. We soon learned that Achint Thakkar was in charge of the music, and all of us music enthusiasts were excited because of his brilliant track record. The lyrics for the songs are written by Varun Grover. So far, we've had a glimpse of three songs, all of which seem stellar, especially the "Ek Hazaaron Mein" rendition sung by Vedang Raina, which strikes the perfect emotional chords.

Manoj Pahwa: The Mentor

The teaser trailer confirmed that, alongside Alia and Vedang, Manoj Pahwa plays a pivotal role as a mentor. The trailer further confirms this, and it’s clear that the veteran actor will add tremendous value to the film. His dialogue referencing Bachchan is already a hit. With his stellar acting skills, Pahwa is sure to elevate the film even more.
