Vasan Bala Discusses Jigra's Challenges.

Jigra didn’t do well at the box office and didn’t even manage to break even. In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Vasan Bala opened up about it and took full responsibility for the film's lack of success. He mentioned that the failure caught him off guard. "It was surprising to see it fail because you never aim for that. Plus, this wasn’t a film that was overly rigid in its approach. I believed it was a straightforward film with emotions that everyone could relate to," he shared.

Vasan wrapped up by saying, "I've always found it tough to get my films released. But this time, it was clear that the film was definitely going to hit the screens, and in a big way. This is a first for me, and honestly, I'm not sure how to handle it. What I do understand is that there's a real responsibility in the mainstream to perform well at the box office."
