Jigra's promotional activities are significantly increasing fan excitement for the film. With Alia Bhatt leading the film and Vedang Raina portraying her younger brother, the Vasan Bala-directed film boasts an intriguing plot, a glimpse of which we caught in the teaser trailer released earlier this week. Now, the 31-year-old actor has dropped an exciting BTS still from the set of the film, which indicates a major reunion after nearly eight years. Yes, we are talking about Bhatt collaborating with Diljit Dosanjh on a song following their Udta Punjab chartbuster, Ikk Kudi.

The photo features both of them sitting on chairs, a nod to their previous collaboration. Dosanjh's chair bears the words "Sings about Kudi." We can see "The Said 'Kudi'" printed on Bhatt's chair. "Chairs say it all, @diljitdosanjh," the actor captioned her post.

Over the years, Bhatt has always been praising Dosanjh for his songs, even during her international interviews. Moreover, the inclusion of his popular track Lover in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani interval block surprised many and received praise for its placement.

We now have to wait and see how the duo will recreate the magic of Ikk Kudi in the new track, which the producers have not yet officially named or released.

Plot overview of Jigra

In Jigra, after a rough upbringing, Satya (Bhatt), a young lady, is left with just her brother (Raina), who is being held captive and subjected to torture in a foreign country. Satya has no choice but to become a hero and try the unimaginable—breaking him out of prison and getting him to safety.

Meanwhile, Bala and Debashish Irengbam are Jigra's writers. Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Somen Mishra have produced the film, which is slated to hit the big screen on October 11, 2024.
