Connection, one of the hidden gems of 2024, has finally made its way to India! This K-Drama, which turned heads when it first dropped, is now streaming on OTT platforms a year later for Indian fans. It's a psychological thriller that wrapped up with an impressive rating of 14.2%, as per AGB Nielson. The show really picked up steam starting from its fourth episode. Here’s what you need to know...
Check out where to catch Connection in India?

Connection has just dropped on Netflix India! This K-Drama is expected to catch a lot of attention on the platform thanks to its compelling storyline, especially since it's the first time Indian viewers can check it out since it aired in 2024.
Connection is all about building relationships and understanding between people?
Detective Jang Jae-kyeong (played by Ji Sung) is a bit of a lone wolf, keeping his distance from family whenever he feels things getting tense. Even though he stands by his principles, his life takes a wild turn, leading him down a dark path of drug addiction. When his friend is found dead, it hits him hard, prompting him to reflect on a 20-year friendship that was riddled with corruption. This is where he crosses paths with reporter Oh Yoon-jin (Jeon Mi-do), who’s eager to uncover his story. She’s got her own secrets too.
The cast also includes Jung Yoo-min, Kwon Yul, Kim Kyung-nam, Kim Min-ju, Jung Jae-kwang, Jung Soon-won, Yoon Na-moo, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Jung Soon Won, among others.
Connection is one of those K-Dramas from 2024 that doesn't get the attention it deserves?

In 2024, Connection hit the scene during a time when shows like Queen of Tears and Lovely Runner were dominating the OTT landscape. Queen of Tears shot to fame right away after its global release on Netflix, while Lovely Runner built up a fanbase before making its way to the platform two months after its initial run on Korean TV. There were plenty of other K-Dramas that did well, but none quite matched the impact of these two, which centered around the theme of eternal love—a classic K-Drama staple. On the flip side, thrillers and crime dramas started to gain traction that year, with The Judge From Hell being a standout. As a result, Connection flew under the radar as an underrated K-Drama of 2024, but it still found its audience in Korea.
