Gowtam Tinnanuri made heads turn with the film Jersey which won the hearts of many. Nani played the main lead in this film which also won a National Award for the best film. Later, the film was remade in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor as the male lead. But sadly, the film flopped in a big way.

Gowtam Tinnanuri's new film gets a release date

Now, he is doing a film with Vijay Deverakonda as the main lead. The film is a cop drama and shooting is happening at a brisk pace. On the other hand, we at OTTplay have already reported that as the film with Vijay Deverakonda was getting delayed, Gowtam went ahead and directed a low-budget film titled Magic. 

Well, the makers have announced the release date today. Magic will hit the screens on December 21, 2024. Centered around the story of four teenagers coming together to compose an original song for their upcoming college fest, the movie has several nostalgic moments that connect with everyone at some point.

What's special is that the sensational Anirudh Ravichander is composing tunes for this coming-of-age musical. Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi along with Sai Soujanya, are bringing forward this amazing film to the theatres, to continue their streak of success under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners.

The film is done with its shoot and is busy with the post-production formalities. Srikara Studios is presenting the film. More details of the film will be revealed in the days to come by the makers. We need to see what kind of a film Gowtam readied with Magic. Watch this space for more updates.
