Asif Ali, the lead actor, expressed his enthusiasm on Instagram, saying, “Thrilled to team up with Jeethu Joseph again after Kooman for this fresh cinematic adventure! Looking forward to sharing it with everyone! Keep an eye out for more updates.” The motion poster features a mysterious road and includes the tagline: “Mirage - Fades as you get closer.”

The thrilling motion poster gives us a good hint that Jeethu Joseph, famous for his knack for creating nail-biting thrillers, is gearing up to deliver another unforgettable movie experience. Filming for the project featuring Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali is set to kick off on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. The release date is still under wraps, but the film is likely to be shot in several phases throughout the first half of 2025.

Mirage: Get to know the team

The much-awaited project is written by director Jeethu Joseph along with Bollywood scribe Srinivas Abrol. The story is crafted by Aparna R. Tarakad. Satheesh Kurup, who previously collaborated with Jeethu Joseph on films like Drishyam 2, 12th Man, Kooman, and Neru, is on board as the director of photography. The music and original score are by Vishnu Shyam, while VS Vinayak takes care of the editing, and Prashanth Madhav is in charge of production design. Mirage is a joint effort from E4 Experiments, Naad Sstudios, and Seven One Seven Productions.
