Actor Jayam Ravi, who is expecting the release of his film Brother, on October 31, has announced a new film on Friday. However, more details on the project will be announced on Saturday, including the director he will be collaborating with.

Jayam Ravi’s next to be announced

Actor Jayam Ravi is set to collaborate with production banner Screen Scene for the third time, the makers announced on social media on Friday. The project is tentatively titled JR 34, and the announcement on the project will be made on Saturday. Screen Scene has earlier produced Jayam Ravi-starrer 2018 science fiction disaster thriller film Tik Tik Tik and the upcoming family entertainer Brother.

While the director of the project has not yet been announced, there has been a strong buzz that director Ganesh K Babu who made last year's Dada will be helming the project as his sophomore directorial. However, the Saturday announcement will affirm this. It will be interesting to see what kind of genre the duo will be coming up with.

Jayam Ravi and Screen Scene are expecting the release of Brother, which is scheduled for October 31. The film is helmed by filmmaker Rajesh M in his maiden collaboration with the actor. Brother is scheduled to hit theatres for the occasion of Diwali in October. Brother is also touted to be full of fun and frolic and will be a family commercial entertainer.

Besides Jayam Ravi, the film also features actors Priyanka Arul Mohan, Bhumika Chawla, VTV Ganesh, Natraj Subramanian, Rao Ramesh, Achyuth Kumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Seetha, Sathish Krishnan, MS Bhaskar, Suresh Chakravarthy, Vriddhi Visha, and Master Ashwin in prominent roles.

Brother’s post-theatrical rights are bagged by ZEE5. The film will be available on the platform as well as OTTplay Premium once the film completes the theatrical run. Brother will be hitting big screens for Diwali, along with Amaran and Bloody Beggar.
