Jason Aldean came in support of his fellow country singer, Carrie Underwood, following her Inauguration Day performance. On Monday, the 41-year-old songstress was forced to perform America the Beautiful a cappella due to technical issues. The Dirt Road Anthem hitmaker, who performed at Liberty Ball after Donald Trump was sworn in as president, reflected on the Before He Cheats singer's performance during Tuesday's appearance on Fox & Friends.

Aldean remarked that the song in question is inherently challenging to perform, particularly highlighting the patriotic nature of the track, which Underwood had to sing without any accompanying background music. He elaborated, stating, “When you are meant to sing along with a track, that serves as your pitch reference for the performance.”

He praised Underwood's decision to proceed without the track, calling it a significant and professional choice. “For her to simply say, ‘All right, let’s go,’ is a commendable move, and I thought it was impressive,” the 47-year-old commented. In another part of the interview, Aldean shared his reflections on his own performance during Inauguration Day.

He expressed that it was “a tremendous honor to be present and to participate in that evening, alongside all those who came to support President Trump.” He added, “The atmosphere felt electric, with everyone eager for this new chapter in our journey.”

The Highway Desperado singer described the chance to perform for Trump as “a whole different ball game for me.” His spouse, Brittany Kerr, also valued the experience, taking to Instagram to post images from “Inauguration night.”

“What an incredible journey it has been! Today has justified all the criticism. I wouldn’t alter a single thing,” the 36-year-old wrote in the caption accompanying the photos of her and Aldean, both attired in rich red outfits.
