Janaka Aithe Ganaka is a film featuring Suhas in the lead role. The family drama was postponed twice before it hit the screens on October 12, 2024, as a Dussehra special. The film was released to below-par reviews and ended as a box office disappointment. Janaka Aithe Ganaka was out of theaters in just four days of its release disappointing Suhas in a big way. 

Janaka Aithe Ganaka locks its OTT platform and release date

This once again proved that Suhas has a strong audience on OTT platforms, but when it comes to box office numbers, he has yet to establish himself as a bankable star. All his previous films did not make that kind of money at the box office. On the other hand, we at OTTplay previously reported that Aha has acquired the digital rights to Janaka Aithe Ganaka and will stream it in the second week of November.

It has now been confirmed that Janaka Aithe Ganaka will be available for streaming on Aha from November 8, 2024. Aha announced the date with a stylish new poster. A notable aspect of the film is that star producer Dil Raju produced it and promoted it aggressively.

Unfortunately, the film received a lukewarm response. It follows a middle-class man who files a case against a condom company for failing to work, disrupting his family planning, and landing him in trouble. Aha reportedly acquired the rights for a fixed price, allowing Dil Raju to recoup some costs thanks to this OTT deal.

Sandeep Bandla directed Janaka Aithe Ganaka, which also stars Rajendra Prasad and Vennela Kishore in key roles. The film is a courtroom drama made on a modest budget by Ashish Reddy, with music composed by Vijay Bulganin of Baby fame. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
