On December 13, Amazon Prime Video revealed the upcoming season of Paatal Lok through an intriguing poster showcasing Jaideep Ahlawat. The image depicts Jaideep's gaze directed towards a knife.

In the meantime, the Deputy Commissioner of Police faces allegations of murdering Sanjeev Mehra, played by Neeraj Kani. Eventually, an intriguing high-profile case presents itself to Inspector Chaudhary. The series delves into a dark and mysterious storyline, compelling Inspector Chaudhary to navigate the treacherous depths of the underworld in order to resolve the case. Throughout this journey, he discovers his own identity as a police officer and the weight of his responsibilities.

The narrative of this captivating thriller series is centred on Tarun Tejpal's work, The Story of My Assassins, which recounts the experiences of five individuals who attempted to take his life.
