The film debuted with significantly lower earnings compared to Salman Khan's Sikandar. To make matters worse, it did not even reach double-digit figures on its opening day.

Sunny Deol's film Jaat has underperformed at the Box Office. It garnered less than half of Sikandar's opening day earnings, and alarmingly, it did not reach double-digit figures. On its first day, Jaat made Rs. 9.5 crore. Therefore, we still suggest watching Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan on OTT for relaxation after a long and exhausting day.

Jaat not Gadar 2 either

In 2023, Sunny Deol achieved significant success with the release of Gadar 2, which became a major blockbuster. The film earned Rs. 40 crore on its opening day, coinciding with the peak popularity of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. Following the disappointing performance of Sikandar at the Box Office, there were elevated expectations for Jaat; however, the film ultimately did not meet those anticipations.

 It is important to highlight that Sikandar and Jaat faced significantly different release conditions. Salman Khan's film debuted during the height of Eid festivities, launching on a Sunday, which was the final holiday preceding the celebrations.

In contrast, Jaat was released on a weekday. Sunny Deol's film premiered on a Thursday, which has considerably affected its Box Office performance. Nevertheless, despite this initial disadvantage, Jaat has the potential to recover starting today, its first Friday, and improve upon its underwhelming opening day Box Office figures in the following days.
