Jaat Box Office Collection Day 4: Sunny Deol's Film Falls Short of Rs 100 Crore Mark in Opening Weekend
9 days ago | 5 Views
The initial weekend Box Office earnings for Sunny Deol's Jaat have been released, and the figures seem only moderately encouraging. Similar to Salman Khan's Sikandar, this film is also facing challenges in surpassing the Rs. 100 crore threshold at the Box Office. In fact, Jaat has yet to reach even half of that target. Nevertheless, there is still some optimism, as it is a long weekend. Here are the Box Office collections for the movie on its fourth day...
Jaat Box Office collection day 4

Jaat, featuring Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles, has barely minted over Rs. 40 crore in its first weekend. Despite almost 50% spike in numbers on Sunday, the movie earned Rs. 40.25 crore net by Sunday, according to Sacnilk. The movie is now closer to beating Yamla Pagla Deewana's Box Office collections but still very far for Deol's blockbuster Gadar 2.
Can Jaat beat Gadar 2 Box Office collections?

The likelihood of Jaat surpassing Gadar 2 at the box office is extremely low, akin to the chances of Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna's Sikandar exceeding the Rs. 200 crore record set by Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi's Tiger 3, which, despite its Rs. 300 crore budget, also incurred losses. In contrast, Jaat surpassing the records of Yamla Pagla Deewana and Gadar is comparable to Sikandar exceeding the record of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan; while it has occurred before, it has since remained stagnant.
When and where to watch Jaat after its theatrical release?
Jaat The film will be available on Netflix following its theatrical run. It is anticipated that the movie will spend approximately eight weeks in theaters before its release on the streaming platform, similar to the approach taken with Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna's Chhaava. However, it remains to be seen if Jaat can approach the box office success achieved by Chhaava. The latter, which surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, has become the third highest-grossing Hindi film, nearing the Rs. 600 crore mark before concluding its theatrical engagement and transitioning to OTT. Nonetheless, Chhaava faced scrutiny shortly after its release, as it was initially available only in Hindi. Following complaints from disappointed Telugu audiences, the producers responded by making the film available in both languages for streaming shortly thereafter.
