We had earlier reported that actors Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen will be starring in an upcoming romantic drama film titled Kadhalikka Neramillai. Now, here is a latest update from the film. The makers of the upcoming project have officially announced that the shooting for the film has been wrapped up.

It’s a wrap for Kadhalikka Neramillai

Kadhalikka Neramillai is an upcoming Tamil feature starring actors Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen. The film is directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, who last made the ZEE5 series Paper Rocket. It marks the actors' first collaboration onscreen as well as working with the director. The latest from the sets of Kadhalikka Neramillai is that the shooting for the romantic drama has been completed. The makers shared photos from the last days from the sets.

Besides Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen, the film also a host of known faces including Vinay Rai, Yogi Babu, Lal, John Kokken, TJ Bhanu, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, and Vinodhini, among others. The upcoming film is backed by Red Giant Movies and has music by AR Rahman. A release date for Kadhalikka Neramillai is yet to be announced by the makers.

While speaking about the film, Jayam Ravi said that Kadhalikka Neramillai will not be a regular love story but be based on mature romance. “Kadhalikka Neramillai is not something I have done before, since it's not the usual boy-meets-girl stories I have done in the past. Rather the film will feature a mature love, and that's not just in terms of age,” he had said.

The film is shot by cinematographer Gavemic Ary, with Lawrence Kishore in-charge of editing. The first single of Kaadhalikka Neramillai has been crooned by actor-musician Shruti Haasan. The lyrics have been penned by Snehan.

Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi was last seen in Siren. The actor, who had opted out of Thug Life, also has Genie and Thani Oruvan 2 in the pipeline. On the other hand, Nithya Menen was last seen in Malayalam film Kolaambi. She has a film titled Dear Exes in the pipeline.
