Fans quickly speculated that he was referring to SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated project, tentatively titled SSMB29, featuring Mahesh Babu. However, some suggested that it might also pertain to his collaboration with Meghna Gulzar alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. To clarify the situation, Prithviraj’s mother, actress Mallika Sukumaran, has confirmed that he is indeed involved in the Rajamouli film, providing essential details on the matter.

One comment in Malayalam stated, “This is all AI. Don’t believe it.” 

In response, Mallika Sukumaran addressed this remark, asserting, “Next is the Rajamouli film. He is leaving tonight.” She further expressed her discontent with the commenter, suggesting they could have sought clarification from her instead of engaging in speculation.

Mallika's remark has ignited a wave of excitement online, with fans of the Malayalam actor rejoicing over the confirmation.

SS Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu film SSMB29

SS Rajamouli is collaborating with Mahesh Babu on the forthcoming Telugu film, SSMB29. While the director of RRR has remained discreet regarding details about the cast and crew, there are widespread rumors suggesting that Prithviraj and John Abraham may be involved in the project.

The first schedule has been completed, and the second schedule is in Odisha, as per reports. Prithviraj is currently gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated directorial L2 Empuraan. The ace Malayalam actor-filmmaker is expected to wrap up his portions and return to Kerala in time for the Mohanlal-starrer's big release on March 27, 2025.
