As anticipation builds for the release of Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 5, exciting news has emerged about the third installment of the franchise. Reports indicate that Pushpa 3 has been confirmed and even has a title, sending fans into a frenzy. Adding to the buzz, there are claims that Vijay Deverakonda may take on the role of the antagonist in this highly anticipated film directed by Sukumar.

Vijay Deverakonda as the Villain?

The news regarding Pushpa 3 gained traction after Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty shared a photo on his X account, announcing that the sound mixing for Pushpa 2 had been completed. In the background of his post was a poster revealing the title Pushpa 3: The Rampage. Although Pookutty deleted the post shortly after, it had already captured the attention of film enthusiasts and went viral among Pushpa fans.

Interestingly, this title was previously hinted at by Vijay Deverakonda himself when he wished director Sukumar a happy birthday in 2022. In his post, he mentioned, “Happy Birthday @aryasukku sir - I wish you the best of health & happiness! Cannot wait to start the film with you :) love and hugs. 2021 - The Rise. 2022 - The Rule. 2023 - The Rampage.” Fans are now buzzing with excitement over the possibility that Deverakonda could portray the villain in this upcoming sequel.

Release Date for Pushpa 2

Pushpa 2, featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles, is set to hit theaters worldwide on December 5. Following this release, director Sukumar is expected to work on a project with Ram Charan before diving into Pushpa 3. Additionally, Sukumar has plans for a film with Vijay Deverakonda, although further details about that project remain under wraps.
