After being obsessed with Agatha All Along for over a month and trying to discover what awaits at the end of this journey, the day has finally arrived for the two-part finale release. The finale dropped on the streaming platform, delivering the excitement and payoff we all anticipated. Already hailed as one of the best MCU shows to date, it’s shaping up to be a massive success for the studio. But as the curtains fall and the season of this Kathryn Hahn-led series comes to a close, fans are left with one question: Will there be a second season? Let’s dissect.
Is Agatha All Along Season 2 Possible?
If you had asked anyone who’d been closely following Agatha All Along until episode 7 about the possibility of a second season, most would have doubted it. The show appeared designed as a one-off without plans for continuation. Being the second show in a trilogy that began with WandaVision and is set to conclude with the Vision series, it seemed unlikely. But the finale has changed everything, suggesting a second season could indeed be on the horizon. Spoilers ahead—read on to find out more.
At the end of episode 9, Billy realizes that his desire to find Tommy and his powers of manifestation unknowingly created the Witch's Road. Realizing he is responsible for the deaths of three witches, he regrets his actions. Seeking redemption, he closes the Witch’s Road permanently, turning it into a grave for Lilia, Sharon Davis, and Alice. Later, we see Billy and Agatha (now a ghost) joining forces to search for Tommy. This hints at a quest for Tommy, as Billy Maximoff is likely beginning to harness his powers for good. He’s also received hints about where Tommy might be at the end of the Witch's Road.
While it’s possible that the future series could focus on Billy under a different title, Agatha, now his guiding spirit, remains with him. Agatha is currently a more prominent character than Billy and wouldn’t simply serve in a supporting role. There’s no official word on the future, but given the success and potential of this franchise, it seems likely the studio will explore the Covenless Witch’s story further.
