Kamal Haasan, the legendary actor is set to be active in films with back-to-back releases in 2024 and 2025. After a brief appearance in Kalki 2898 AD, the National award-winner is set to return to the screens in July 2024, with the highly anticipated project, Indian 2. The project, which is a sequel to the 1996-released blockbuster Indian, has created quite a stir on social media with its power-packed trailer lately. As per the reports, Kamal Haasan is set to appear in 12 looks, in Indian 2.

Kamal Haasan to sport 12 looks in Indian 2?

If the recent updates are to be believed, Kamal Haasan, who is set to return in the role of Veerasekharan Senapathy in Indian 2, is set to amaze the cine-goers with his makeovers. According to the reports, the legendary actor is appearing in 12 different avatars in the Shankar directorial. However, some unconfirmed reports also suggest that only 9 out of the 12 get-ups will be seen in the upcoming second part of the Indian franchise. 

According to the grapevine, Kamal Haasan’s other five looks for the project will be seen only in the third installment of the franchise. Notably, the recently released Indian 2 trailer revealed a few new looks of the leading man, in the film. The third part, which has been titled Indian 3, is expected to hit the theatres by the first half of 2024. The new update has left the fans of Ulaganayagan and director Shankar, who have been eagerly waiting for the film, totally excited.

Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 appearance leave fans disappointed

However, a major group of Tamil cinema audience, who grew up watching the original Indian, are not so impressed with the legendary actor’s look as Senapathy in the second part. The cine-goers point out that Kamal Haasan doesn’t look like the iconic character in the Indian 2 trailer, and the new get-up looks artificial. They are also pointing out some major logical mistakes in the trailer, which have raised questions about the character’s actual age.
