Tovino Thomas is highly busy in his acting career with some promising projects in his kitty. The talented actor is reuniting with Akhil Paul and Anas Khan, the director duo of his much-loved film Forensic, for the upcoming project Identity. The much-awaited project, which is touted to be a crime thriller, stars Trisha Krishnan as the female lead. Recently, Tovino Thomas dropped a BTS video from the fight rehearsals for Identity, that left his followers in splits.

Tovin Thomas shares a fun BTS video with Identity director Akhil Paul

The popular actor took to his official Instagram handle and dropped a fun BTS video, which was recorded during the fight rehearsals of Identity. In the video, Tovino Thomas is seen performing a wrestling technique with director Akhil Paul, who visited the team amidst rehearsals. The crew members of the film were seen enjoying the live performance to the fullest. Director Akhil, however, looked flabbergasted at Tovino’s sudden move.

“Director who came to know Fight practice updates !! @akhilpaul_,” Tovino Thomas captioned the fun BTS video. “Director is doing fine... When the shoot starts, I think I will be getting really exhausted doing retakes,” further added the actor, who assured the followers that he didn’t cause any harm to director Akhil Paul. However, from the fight rehearsal visuals, it is safe to assume that Identity is indeed going to be a perfect treat for the cine-goers who love high-voltage action sequences.

Identity to get an Onam 2024 release?

As reported earlier, the much-awaited crime thriller is reportedly gearing up to release in September 2024, coinciding with the Onam festival. Earlier, the Onam slot was finalised for Tovino Thomas’s ambitious project, Ajayante Randam Moshanam. However, the release of the period thriller is now pushed to the final quarter of 2024, due to the delay in the VFX and post-production works. However, the makers of Identity have not reacted to the reports, yet.
