A few days ago, the makers unveiled the intriguing teaser of the show and it has already created a stir among the viewers for its gripping tale and outstanding cast including Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Varma, Dia Mirza, Pankaj Kapoor, Kumud Mishra, Patralekhaa, Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Pooja Gor, among others.
What happened at the real Kandahar Hijack?
In 1999, an Indian aircraft IC 814 was hijacked on its way from Nepal to Delhi by a group of five masked Pakistani militants. After ordering the flight to be taken to multiple locations, they eventually demanded to land in Kandahar, then controlled by the Taliban. The terrorists demanded the release of three terrorists in exchange for the release of more than 150 people. This hijack is considered to be the longest to date.
