'Rakshana' is an investigative thriller. As the character fights for the victims and protects them, we have given the title of the movie as Raksha. Before that we thought Rakshak was the name of the vehicles of Telangana police. Finally we fixed the title defense. The film has a completely realistic approach.

No one was kept in mind while writing the story. So I wrote the story thinking of a character. I thought I should have a physique suitable for the role of a policeman. At that time RX 100 came. We thought this role would be good for her. Approached. She liked the story very much. That's how the movie started.

The shooting of this movie was done in total for 57 days. Payal's shoot was done for 47 days. According to the agreement she has to attend promotions. I said that I will give the balance amount of six lakhs after coming to the promotions. This movie has to be promoted after Tuesday. But he did not express his willingness to come. She is the only important thing for this movie. I am a new director producer. Nobody sees me. No one listens to me. So I complained to the producer council that she should come. Her manager Saurabh Dhingra said that if she is given 20 lakhs, she will be promoted virtually.

Payal is amazing in her role. Keeping this dispute aside.. I will give her the balance amount due even if she doesn't come for the promotions. I believe in my story and my film. I got good distributors. I am going to release the movie on a big scale.

Many people said that Payal Rajput's image is different.. the movie he is doing is different.. But people support hero heroines only when they play new roles. That's why I thought Payal would be good for this role. She acted amazingly.

Worked as an assistant and co-director for Guna Shekhar's films Okdudu, Sayanikudu, Rudrama Devi. I worked as a co-director for Anand Ranga's 'Oi' and Bommarillu Bhaskar's 'Orange'. I went to many holding a big story. But did not work out. That's why I thought of making a small film myself.

Filmmaking is a creative thing. Releasing a movie is a marketing thing. I took the film well. But very poor in the marketative thing. That's why I couldn't get hold of a producer on my own. These days releasing a film has become more difficult than making it.

I weaved a fictional story inspired by an incident in the life of a police officer. This movie also has a message. It is not as if the proverbs taught and lectures were given.

After the movie Rakshana, Payal's image will change completely. A new Payal Rajput will be seen. She will get more powerful roles from now on.
