The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film, Hunt, unveiled its trailer a week ahead of its release. The horror thriller, which will hit the big screens on August 23, features Bhavana in the lead role. With hints of a potentially suspenseful story and spine-tingling moments in theatres, the movie's trailer has provided an insight into the characters and plot.

The one minute and forty-five-second video depict a discussion about the unexplained death of a youngster in a mortuary who heard a woman's cries coming from the building at odd hours. Bhavana plays Dr Keerthy, a medical student who takes on a case at a medical school that ends up being more challenging than she expected.

Furthermore, the teaser suggests that Bhavana's character experiences what some refer to as hallucinations—paranormal activities on campus. She is heard asking whether it is a spirit of some sort or something more. In this movie, Renji Panicker plays a paranormal expert. Overall, it leaves viewers with a spooky impression and raises the possibility of a compelling crime thriller with some scary aspects.

Cast and crew of Shaji Kailas’ Hunt

Hunt was written by Nikhil Anand and is helmed by acclaimed director Shaji Kailas. The director and Bhavana are reuniting on this film after working together on Chinthamani Kolacase, which is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Starring Bhavana, Thilakan, and Suresh Gopi, the movie released in 2006 narrates the story of a criminal lawyer and his peculiar approach to the the justice system.

Hunt also stars Chandhunadh, Dain Davis, Renji Panikkar, Aditi Ravi, G Suresh Kumar, Nandhu, Vijayakumar, Rahul Madhav, and Biju Pappan. Rani: The Real Story, available for streaming on Manorama Max, and Nadikar, which has not yet made its digital debut, are two of Bhavana's most recent Malayalam releases. The movie's soundtrack was composed by Kailas Menon. The film is bankrolled by K Radhakrishnan under the banner of Goodwill Entertainment.
