Actor Dushara Vijayan has been part of high-profile projects like Raayan and Vettaiyan this year. The actor is also part of the upcoming Tamil film Veera Dheera Sooran. On Monday, the makers released a new poster featuring Vikram and Dushara for the occasion of the latter’s birthday. The poster features a half face of Vikram, as he is looking sideways, while the other side shows Dushara's.
The upcoming film is directed by SU Arun Kumar, who previously directed the critically acclaimed film Chittha. The film also stars actors SJ Suryah, Siddique, and Suraj Venjaramoodu, among others in pivotal roles.
Produced by Riya Shibu under the banner HR Pictures, Veera Dheera Sooran is expected to be an action drama with SJ Suryah playing the antagonist. He will be playing a cop in the film. GV Prakash will be scoring music and the camera will be cranked by cinematographer Theni Eswar. The edits are handled by Prasanna GK, with CS Balachandar serving as the art director. A release date for Veera Dheera Sooran is yet to be announced, however, multiple installments of the film are expected to be made.
Dushara’s line up of work
Dushara was seen in two films this year, Raayan and Vettaiyan. The former is available for streaming on Prime Video and is directed and starring Dhanush in the lead role. Meanwhile, Vettaiyan is currently running in theatres. Headlined by actor Rajinikanth, the film is written and directed by TJ Gnanavel. A release date for Veera Dheera Sooran is yet to be announced.
