The franchise scene in India is really picking up speed, and one standout is definitely the YRF Spy Universe, which is getting a lot of buzz thanks to Yash Raj Films. This sequel to the popular 2019 film is set to bring Hrithik Roshan back in action mode, teaming up with Jr NTR, but this time without Tiger Shroff. Kiara Advani is also part of the cast. However, there's some unfortunate news: Hrithik has reportedly injured his leg while practicing for a crucial dance number, meaning he won't be able to film until May 2025. Hrithik Roshan Injured His Leg While Preparing for War 2?

A few months back, there was buzz about War 2 featuring a dance-off between Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan, which got everyone hyped since both are amazing dancers. One of them even snagged an Oscar for "Naatu Naatu" from RRR! However, the latest news isn't great—Hrithik has injured his leg while practicing for the song, so the shoot has been delayed until May.

According to Bollywood Hungama, a source mentioned, “Hrithik really went all out during rehearsals for this high-energy number with NTR Jr. He ended up with a leg strain that was pretty painful, and after a check-up, the doctors told him to take it easy and rest up before filming this big number!” In the meantime, check out some of Hrithik Roshan's action-packed films, many of which you can find on OTTplay. 

A source shared that the big dance-off track for War 2, starring Hrithik and NTR Jr., is set to be filmed in May! All the main cast have wrapped up their parts, and the movie is currently in post-production. This slight delay won’t affect any of the film's marketing or promotional strategies. War 2 is scheduled to hit theaters globally on August 14, 2025!

War 2 is helmed by Ayan Mukerji and is part of Aditya Chopra’s hit YRF Spy Universe. This universe already features War, the Tiger trilogy, and Pathaan, and it's gearing up to add War 2, Pathaan 2, Pathaan vs Tiger, and Alpha to the mix.
