What stands out to me is that while that scene was thrilling to shoot, there is undoubtedly much more to explore. There is a wealth of discussion yet to be had.”

“I believe Rhaenyra undergoes significant transformation by the conclusion of the second series. Her relationship with her identity, her Targaryen lineage, and even her beliefs has evolved dramatically. She appears to be less willing to compromise now. I eagerly await to see what has been crafted in the script, but I find it hard to believe that, considering all that has occurred in the second series, she would not feel the need to keep him under close scrutiny,” she further remarked.

Fans have eagerly awaited news regarding the third season, and recently, showrunner Ryan Condal disclosed the filming schedule during his appearance on The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of podcast.

Condal announced that filming for the third season is set to commence in January 2025. While a confirmed start date falls within the first quarter, he chose not to disclose it. "The year 2025 is going to be absolute chaos from January, particularly from the third month until late fall when we conclude production. We do have a start date for production, but I prefer not to reveal it as it may attract attention; however, it is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025," he stated.
