The eagerly awaited Tamil film House Mates has revealed its first look, showcasing actor Darshan in the leading role. Directed by T. Raja Vel, House Mates presents a distinctive fusion of fantasy, horror, and comedy, promising to deliver a refreshing and entertaining experience to Tamil cinema. The first look poster unveiled on February 11, features a striking contrast: on one side, Darshan is depicted alongside a female character, both engaged in pushing against a wall, while on the opposite side, Kaali Venkat and his family are positioned in the background. This imagery effectively hints at the film’s premise, establishing the tone for the forthcoming supernatural and comedic elements.

The narrative centres around the events occurring within an apartment complex, mirroring the daily lives and emotions of middle-class families. With its blend of fantasy and horror, House Mates is poised to offer an enjoyable experience for viewers of all ages. Darshan, recognized for his performances in Kanaa and Thumba, assumes a significant lead role, supported by a talented ensemble cast that includes Kaali Venkat, Arsha Chandini Baiju, Vinodini, Dheena, Abdool Lee, and Master Henrik, all of whom enhance the storyline.

The film is both written and directed by T. Raja Vel, who has previously co-directed Demonte Colony 2 and collaborated with filmmaker Ajay Gnanamuthu. Produced by S. Vijaya Prakash under the Playsmith Studios banner, House Mates also features director SP Sakthivel from South Studios as a co-producer. With music composed by Rajesh Murugesan, known for his contributions to Neram and Premam, the film promises an exceptional audio-visual experience.
