Returning to JioCinema is the spine-tingling murder thriller Honeymoon Photographer. The platform has unveiled the new series trailer, which shows a honeymoon retreat gone horribly wrong when they discover the groom's body on the beach. Arjun Srivastava directed the show, which premieres on September 27 and stars Asha Negi, Sahil Salathia, Rajeev Sidhhartha, and Apeksha Porwal. Rishabh Seth's Green Light Productions produces it.

Plot and character details

Asha Negi stars as Ambika Nath in the series, who takes honeymoon photos for the newlywed industrialists Adhir and Zoya Irani (Sahil Salathia and Apeksha Porwal, respectively). When the beach discovers Adhir's body, the excursion takes a dark turn. Since Ambika can't recall what happened the night before, she is now the main suspect in the murder, as her date Rihen (Rajeev Siddhartha) is missing. Jason Tham portrays Elvin, Ambika's friend-zoned date and her only ally in her quest to prove her innocence. Police officer Divya Sawant (Samvedna Suwalka), who is self-interested, heads up the probe. A complex network of lies and a pursuit of truth characterise the six-part series.

Asha Negi's perspective on the role

Asha Negi says, expressing her delight over the show's introduction, that in her career, she has essayed several roles, but a majority of them have been romantic and family-centric. Honeymoon Photographer was a welcome change of pace for her, given that the show's premise is completely opposite to what the title would lead one to believe. Ambika is a multi-faceted protagonist, and her growth becomes more apparent as the story progresses. This character completely captivated her. There is a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase in the show, and every character is fighting for their own personal motivation to come out on top. Being a part of this story was an incredible experience, and Asha hopes the audience finds the ride just as thrilling.

In Honeymoon Photographer, the makers promise a gripping murder mystery that won't let one rest until it reaches its shocking conclusion.
