Aha is back with yet another original series, Home Town. The series has been in the news for a long time and is finally set to stream on April 4, 2025, on OTTplay Premium. Produced by Rajsehekar Medaram, the show's trailer is now out, giving a glimpse into the life of a small-town family where a middle-class father dreams of sending his son to the U.S., while the son has no such aspirations.

Rajeev Kanakala takes on the role of a father for the first time in a setting that reflects the culture of Telangana. His character is portrayed as a resolute parent who persistently encourages his laid-back son, portrayed by Prajwal Yadma, to achieve academic excellence. The series, which unfolds in a quaint town in Telangana, sheds light on the challenges faced by young students who are disinterested in their studies, with Prajwal and his peers representing this theme.

Enhancing the entertainment value is the dynamic between Prajwal and Annie, which injects a playful aspect into this romantic drama. Nevertheless, the central theme of the show focuses on the father's unwavering desire to send his son overseas. Veteran actress Jhansi portrays the mother, who stands against the notion of young people departing from India, advocating instead for them to establish their futures domestically. This conflict is depicted in a manner that is both lighthearted and intellectually stimulating.
